The Biography of Beauty Saloon The winter 05, four friends from Sandnes (Norway) decided to start a band.
In the beginning we jammed along to find out exactly what type of music we wanted to play. We were all pleased with the result; which were pop, with a twist of rock=). Soon the process of writing our own songs began. After a couple of weeks, we suddenly had a set-list of our own. In the beginning we only had one guitar player. Some players were in the picture, but we all had one special in mind. After a while he, Kjartan, were willing to try it out in one of our rehearsals. The rest is history!
The first concert we had was at a youth café in the centre of Sandnes. The crowd was mostly good friends of us. So we had awful lot of fun this evening. After this we have hade a couple of concerts in the district. The main show we have participated in was a rock concert the 16 may 06. in Sandnes called “City Rock”.
Our repertory is continuing to increase and we usually rehearse three to four hours a week. The reason why we keep on playing, is because we simply love to make music. The bonus is of course to be able to give others the opportunity to listen to what we have and make their own opinion about it. We hope in the future that we will still go strong, and that people will continue listening to our music.
Our main goal with Beauty Saloon is to realise an album, and go on tour across the nation, hopefully we will be able to play some international concerts to.
