Mortal Psychosis

Mortal Psychosis is an melodic metal band from Vestfold, Norway. The band was formed by Vegard Liverød, and Kai Skoli in 2002. At that time the band was named TORN APART, but changed the name to MORTAL PSYCHOSIS in 2008.
The group's early lineup consisted of Vegard Liverød (Guitars), Kai Skoli (Drums), Øystein Jensen (Bass) and Jan Richard Brattås (ex-Vocals). They played Death/Thrash metal At these times. But it was mostly rehearsals and barbecuing, so the band splitted up in 2004.
In 2006, Vegard, Kai and Jan Richard regrouped. Jan Richard switched to bass.
Morten Bakke joined as vocalist in 2007. They recorded their first demo early 2008, and their second demo lately the same year.
Early in 2009, Glenn Remy Øverland Hansen joined as the second guitarist. Kai Skoli left the band. But they continued to write new material for a third demo, wich becamed more melodic, and viking inspired. Vegard recorded drums on this demo. After that, Jan A. Christiansen joined as their new drummer. They wrote alot of new material wich currently have not been released yet.
In 2010 Morten Bakke moved to Oslo, so it was difficult to continue in the band. Therefore he had to leave. They found a replacement in 2011, Christoffer Sørensen.
