That Special Monkey Hug
There is no theory of evolution, it`s just Chuck and That Special Monkey Hug. That Special Monkey Hugis a Norwegian/British/Colombian folk band, that is mostly occupied with Chuck and making really indie music. The guys in the band really despise everything commercial and mainstream. That`s why it`s so indie. It`s actually so indie it`s almost mainstream. And that`s pretty indie. (The second Bear!!!) The band has excisted since january 1994, and was formed to play at the opening of the 1994 Olympic Winter Games in Lillehammer, Norway. Since that we`ve had our ups and downs, but are now, in 2006, coming harder than ever, with tours and concerts all over the world. The reason for this is that That Special Monkey Hug has always been indie, and they`re not playing inde! This is the real deal, and ever since indie got it`s break through, has one of it origins in TSMH gotten increased popularity. TSMH of course doesn`t like this, because popularity is kinda mainstream, but they`ve decided to make the use of all the attention to set focus on the things important to the members of the band, like More War, Less Time, Oysters, Chuck, and candle lights. Apocolypse forever, yeah. And for the third time, life was good.
Besetning
The band members are: Stian Indrevold: Between 11 and 22 years old, playing guitar and singing, and one of the 5 most important members of TSMH. From Blackpool, England, and is here in Norway to play with TSMH. He says: "There are too many Norwegians in the Norwegian music scene." Rune Schanke Eikum: 19 years old, and lead vocal in TSMH. Due to lack of interest in instruments, he plays a stick and casserolle, and his vocal is one of the most distinct features of TSMH. Kjartan Laupstad: Age; probably the older or younger brotherof Stian Indrevold. Plays the bass and sings, and is the guy in the band that suggest many things. Often indie things. Okay, always indie thing. Has a sensuall voice that will shake your excistense. Birger Moberg: Is as old as Forbund for Lokal-TV in Norway. And yes, it`s an direct link. Sings and plays guitar in TSMH, and is the guy making the indie guitar sounds in I May Be Ugly But At Least I`m Not Dutch. One indie guy, you say? We say yeah. Mauricio Iglesias: Age; unknown. Was found in south america by the band, and they thought he was so cute they gave him vaccines, and brought him to Norway. The name is made up. Maybe. Due to lack of training, he rarely speaks, and is what someone would call Emo. This is almost true, as he is ... Plays trumpet (oyster sounds), bass drum and hi-hat. At the same time.
